--June, '08 RDT will perform it's first full evening work, "The Divine Comedy" inspired by Dante Alighieri at the Church of the Mediator in Bronx, NY on Friday, June 14th.  More details to come.

--January, '08 Jonathan is collaborating with Carolyn Adams to develop a dance curriculum for AHRC schools serving children with autism.  One of the three pieces studied in the workshops is "The Angel" from Inferno.

--December, '07  RDT is annoucing their next performing season including dates in NYC at Joyce Soho Dec. 13-16 at 8PM.  We hope to bring to you our latest works "Out of the Silent Planet" and "The Four Loves," along with a new look at "Inferno."  If you are not already on our mailing list and would like more information on these performances, go to the "Contact" portion of this site.

--September, '07 Jonathan will be getting back to his roots choreographing the fall musical for Westchester Community College.  The production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a treasured opportunity for him to return to an artform he's missed for far too long.

--August, '07  Rehearsals have begun for our upcoming NYC season!  We're currently bringing back "Inferno" and reinvestigating the "Four Loves" material for its world premiere this year.

--July, '07.  Jonathan will be creating something new for the talented young artists of Dance Freemont in Seattle.

--June, '07.  Jonathan will be creating a new piece this Summer for The Yard, a prestigious dance colony located in Martha's Vineyard, MA.  He and eight beautiful dancers (including a couple RDT alumns) will spend six weeks making the work together with final performances June 28, 29, 30, and July 1.

Jonathan's third piece in row using music for string quartet, the piece plans to be set to Debussy and explore the chemestry, physicality and partnering work attained with same sex pairings of dancers.  There may also be some more C. S. Lewis material thrown in, this time from "The Space Trilogy," but nothing is written in stone.

--May, '07.  Jonathan created an impressive new work for RDT's Lisa Iannacito that was previewed in at The Yard in Matha's Vineyard during their first week of their residency.  Made in just five short rehearsals this 7 minute solo was set to Stravinsky's Concertino for String Quartet.  Jonathan looked to the documentary film Suicide Killers by Pierre Rehov for inspiration.  He says, "If I can stir the audience for one moment the way I was chilled by that entire film I'll have done something important."

--March, '07. Jonathan performed two RDT solos with the American Dance Legacy Institute at Brown University. The program included "The Angel" from Inferno and "Earnest and the Universe" (formerly "Ultimate Devotion") from The Upcher's Warbler. You couldn't pick two more contrasting works and they fit just beautifully together.

-- December '06.  RDT recently finished the creation of their latest piece "The Four Loves" based on the book by C. S. Lewis.  Set to Dvorak's "American" String Quartet it depicts the four aspects of love (Affection, Eros, Friendship, and Charity) through searing movement, poignant musicality and RDT's signiture character work.

We are currently seeking venues and funding to premiere this work in the Fall.  Please contact us with any support or information you may have.
